Privacy Policy

Mise / 食序 is designed as a personal kitchen and meal-planning workspace. This policy explains what data the app stores, how iCloud sync works, and what the developer does not collect.

Summary

Mise does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not use third-party tracking SDKs. The app is built for user-created cooking data such as ingredients, recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists.

Data Stored in the App

Mise lets users create and edit kitchen ingredients, purchase channels, units, recipes, recipe components, meal plans, meal entries, shopping checklist state, app settings, and onboarding state.

This information is stored on the user's device. The developer does not operate a separate server that receives or reads this user-created content.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is available and enabled for the user's Apple account, Mise may sync supported app data through Apple's CloudKit private database. This is used to keep the user's cooking workspace available across their Apple devices.

CloudKit private database data is associated with the user's Apple account and handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and privacy practices. Mise does not run its own cloud database for this content.

Tracking, Advertising, and Third Parties

Mise does not show ads, does not sell user data, and does not use third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not create an advertising profile and does not share user-created kitchen or meal-planning content with advertisers.

Diagnostics

Mise does not include a third-party analytics package. Apple may provide developers with crash reports or diagnostics if users have enabled sharing diagnostics with app developers in their device settings. Those reports are handled through Apple's developer tools and are used to improve reliability.

Your Choices

Users can edit or delete their own app content inside Mise. Users can also manage iCloud availability for apps through iOS Settings. Deleting the app from a device removes local app data from that device; iCloud-synced data may remain in iCloud according to Apple's system behavior and the user's iCloud settings.

Children

Mise is a general cooking and meal-planning utility. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when Mise changes its data handling practices or adds new features. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
